BOWRAL Lions Club

District 201N2, New South Wales, Australia

Bowral Lions Club

We are involved in the Lions SaveSight project and our member Matt McCarthy collects used glasses from a number of places around Bowral Mittagong and Moss Vale. These are gathered boxed and sent to Queensland where they are cleaned checked and sorted and then sent to aid people in third world countries.

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things - supporting people with a disability and fundraising for worthwhile causes.

Be a part of the change at Bowral.  We meet on alternate Thursdays at 7pm at the Scottish Arms Tavern, Boardman Road, Bowral. (see calendar of events)  Please feel welcome to come along.

New President Roger Humphreys with Past President's Wife Rosanne Kelly cut the traditional cake.

We are the Lions

We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.

Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

Become a Lion and help in making our communities and the world better places to live.

Becoming a Lion

Lions club members strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.
